Director Statement
"Exodos" is a journey into the heart of a young woman grappling with identity, loyalty, and the courage to break free from a life of crime. Through Hayley's story, I aim to explore how environments defined by violence and manipulation can be challenged by the resilience of the human spirit. The film delves into themes of betrayal, self-discovery, and the transformative power of kindness. By contrasting the darkness of Hayley's world with the compassion shown by Ben, I hope to highlight the impact one person can have on another's path to redemption. Ultimately, "Exodos" is about the difficult choices we make to redefine ourselves and seek a better future.
