My World
Short 1:30
Synopsis:
A little girl sits in a coffee shop, bored as her mom is on her phone. She begins to draw, noticing that everyone around her is lost in their devices. Rushed to leave, she leaves behind an unfinished drawing with a note: "Please finish my drawing." The picture shows her alone in a bubble labeled "My world," a symbol of her isolation.
As the day goes on, strangers passing by add their own touches, transforming the drawing into a vibrant tapestry of people, animals, and symbols of connection. At closing time, the waitress almost discards it but instead decides to hang it on the wall. The completed artwork now shows the girl surrounded by life, with the words "Your world is" added before "my world," a powerful reminder of human connection. This heartwarming story illustrates how small acts of kindness can turn loneliness into belonging.
