These Things

Synopsis:

These Things is a short film about four dancers who experience an event that leaves them feeling scared, sad and confused.

This cinedance was unfortunately inspired by true events in our community. With the help and patience of intuitive choreographer Jordan Pelliteri, we developed this cinedance to help the dancers and our community process what had happened and move on. Acknowledging awful feelings exist is the first step to overcoming them. By submitting to your festival, it is our hope that These Things can give voice to what your audience finds unspeakable. I don't know what that is for them, but when they watch These Things they will know.

Choreography by Jordan Pelliteri is set to the original song by Phoenix songwriter and music artist, Wake Up Alexander, an Arizona native.
