Synopsis:

Returning to her hometown to star in an all-female production of King Lear, a renowned actress must make amends with her estranged daughter since this performance will be her swan song before she dies.

A.J. was born in Bangkok, Thailand, raised in Queens, New York, and is now a New Jersey resident. He has been creative since he could walk. He fell in love with cinema during childhood after seeing Richard Donner’s Superman: The Movie. He soon discovered slasher films and then the art house movie.  He holds an M.F.A. in playwriting at the Actors' Studio Drama School at The New School for Social Research, an M.A. in directing at Roosevelt University in Chicago and a M.F.A. in screenwriting at The David Lynch Graduate School of Cinematic Arts at Maharishi International University in Fairfield, Iowa.  His feature film Ripples of Water won the audience award for Best Feature Film at qFLIX Philadelphia film festival, a silver award at Philadelphia International Film Festival and Market and nominate for best feature at Block Island Film Festival. Ripples was also a finalist at OUT Kansas City and a semi-finalist at Shanghai Film Festival, an official selection for My True Colors Film Festival, Depth of Field Festival in Rehoboth Beach, DE, and received a Cornet selection for Queen Palm Film Festival in California. It is currently on TUBI, Amazon Prime, Apple TV and others. His short film The Dance, I.W.S.K., 5:25 to 5:45 (or something like that), The Devil’s Playground and Music in the Air have collectively won over a dozen awards ranging from best film, to best screenplay and director, to best actor and original score and have been official selections for over fifty film festivals. As an actor, he appears in the film Ricky’s Story (winning best actor at the In the Cut Film Festival), Ripples of Water, Reunited (and it feels so cruel), The Evangelist, Rock Paper Scissors, 5:25 to 5:45 (or something like that), The Funnel Web, and the web series Clutter Luck. His screenplays Fab & Ren (Best Screenplay – Drama, Show Low Film Festival; Best Screenplay, Round Reel Film Festival; 2nd Round, Austin Film Festival), Dead Movie Star and the Boys (Best Screenplay, In the Cut Film Festival) , Tic-Tac-Toe (Best of the Fest – receiving a perfect score, Show Low Film Festival, Best Screenplay at In the Cut Film Festival), The Statue, The Corpse and Me (Finalist, Block Island Film Festival), Queen Lina & the Artemis Players (Award Winner, Show Low Film Festival) and his pilot Danny Henson (Short list, Barn Storm) have won many awards and accolades. He is currently seeking representation and/or also a producer who believes in his work to get all these projects made into motion pictures and television series.
