Director - Mark Anthony Short

Mark Anthony Short was born and raised in the inner city of Chicago. He is one of eight siblings in his family and always dreamed of becoming a Chicago Firefighter, which he accomplished in 2012. His other aspiration of playing football, happened when he received a scholarship to Elsworth College in Iowa. However, Mark never waivered from his dream of producing and acting. Today Mark is CEO of his own production company and further fuels his passions by being involved behind the scenes of Chicago Fire TV show, where ironically he plays a Chicago Firefighter!

Director Statement

This film is near to my heart because I too, have ever let my fears keep me from moving forward in life. Overcoming those fears was a pivotal point in my life where I felt I truly saw myself for the first time. Writing and directing this to highlight the mental conflict we often have within ourselves was important to me, because I want people to know, they're not alone.
