Harmony on Pointe is more than a short film to me—it’s a love letter to the transformative power of youth artistry. As someone who grew up immersed in both performance and storytelling, I know firsthand how access to the arts can shape confidence, creativity, and connection.
When I witnessed the collaboration between The School of Ballet Arizona and the Phoenix Youth Symphony Orchestra, I was deeply moved—not just by their technical brilliance, but by the sincerity, discipline, and heart these young artists brought to every rehearsal and every note. Documenting their journey as they prepared their performance felt energetic, beautiful, and nostalgic.
This film is a celebration of what happens when young people are given space to express themselves, when art is taken seriously, and when collaboration becomes a language all its own.
